Meet Principal Kareem Nelson
Welcome Back, Martin Families!
I’m Kareem Nelson, proud Principal of Martin Elementary, Home of the Tigers! On behalf of our entire faculty and staff, I want to express how excited we are for the opportunity to capture hearts, engage minds, and grow every child who walks through our doors. I am especially grateful for the blessing of this vibrant community of students, staff, and families.
Despite the challenges students in our current society may face in the world around them, I remain hopeful and confident that this will be a successful academic year. I look forward to the academic and social growth each student will achieve.
This year, we are proud to focus our efforts and energy on committing to the Martin Triple C Experience: Curriculum, Climate, and Character:
- Curriculum: We are strengthening our curriculum and instruction to promote meaningful academic growth for every learner.
- Climate: We are fostering a campus environment that is empowering and enriching for students, staff, and all stakeholders.
- Character: We are building and developing student and staff leaders who will grow into positive community members and world changers.
In addition, our team has placed a strong emphasis on social-emotional learning (SEL). As we continue to implement SEL practices, we remain committed to nurturing the whole child, ensuring that every student thrives in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.
Building strong partnerships with families will be essential to our success.
